Michael is a lean start-up growth hacker (TechStars alumnus) and experienced crowdfunder (over $400K raised), with extensive management experience in the Education marketplace with companies like Kaplan and ClassWallet before joining Varroom.

Michael specializes in building digital strategies that drive program growth while integrating research/testing into every phase. This approach yields both short-term results and long-term continuous improvement in industries ranging from Higher Ed to K12 to consumer electronics.

Michael received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy and his MBA from the University of Miami with a focus in Marketing.

In his off time he studies Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and loves to discuss the exponentially increasing price performance of computing and it’s societal implications (both of which we’re hoping he’ll explain to us one day…).
