Rick brings many years of pioneering experience in education and training, having advised, founded, and/or operated several successful education or edtech-related firms. He has held senior executive roles with some of the world’s leading education services businesses, including: QuadPartner’s portfolio business ILSC GlobalFoundations as Founding Managing Director; Shorelight Education as SVP of Portfolio Management; Kaplan Global Solutions (Kaplan’s university services arm) as SVP leading the US division, and as co-founder & GM of Kaplan’s Online Program Management firm, Colloquy; as President of Vista Equity Partner’s platform training business, EssentialLearning, and then as EVP of Products for the expanded business that became known as ReliasLearning. He has helped Kadenze and Barbri Professional to define and grow their markets. He holds a Masters of Public and Private Management (MPPM) from Yale University.
